Molly-Mae debuts her 'accessible luxury' fashion brand Maebe
Reality TV star turned influencer turned mogul Molly-Mae Hague, who has recently made news headlines after announcing her split with fiancé Tommy Fury, has unveiled plans to launch a contemporary womenswear brand dubbed 'Maebe'.
Maebe is poised to "make elevated style an accessible luxury for a new generation". According to the soon-to-be-launched brand, the concept was born from Hague's deep understanding of evolving style and a desire to create a collection for the modern woman.
The beloved British influencer made a name for herself on ITV's Love Island and later became known for her online fashion ensembles and vlogs. In 2019, she stepped into the role of entrepreneur with the launch of the self-tanning brand 'Filter by Molly-Mae'.
In 2021, after Hague garnered a reputation as 'the people's princess' and 'fashion mogul', PrettyLittleThing announced her appointment as UK and EU Creative Director. She stepped down from her role at PLT in June 2023 to spend more time with her newborn Bambi. This also cleared up some time on her seemingly non-stop schedule to pursue the creation of a womenswear label.
At the time, Hague said: "Myself and PLT have decided collectively that as much as the Creative Director role was incredible and I have literally loved being the Creative Director of PLT more than anything it was such an amazing chapter for me it has naturally come to an end."
Molly-Mae, who's just 25 years of age, will launch Maebe exclusively online at www.maebe.co.uk on Sunday 29 September 2024.
