Missoma launches gender fluid jewellery collection

Jewellery brand Missoma has announced its first gender fluid collection, blurring the typical line between feminine and masculine jewellery - dubbed 'Fused', the collection fuses together 18ct gold vermeil and sterling silver.

Alongside the collection, the brand has launched its own mission statement to eradicate the line between traditional ‘female’ and ‘male’ jewellery at Missoma.

The new direction was inspired by the brands community, stories of sharing pieces with significant others, and the movement towards more androgynous designs that can be worn by everyone.

Elements of the collection build upon the notion of strength through two tone styles, woven textures and interlinking features. By deconstructing signature styles and then re-engineering and fusing statement design elements together in bold and adventurous ways, the pieces break down traditional jewellery perceptions.
