Mint Velvet to support Heart Month with Valentines charity drive
Mint Velvet has teamed up with The British Heart Foundation (BHF) this Valentines Day, as part of a new pledge which will see it donate vital funds towards BHF research.
The pledge, which comes at the start of Heart Month, will see Mint Velvet donate £10 from the sale of each item bought online on Valentines Day, 14 February.
The current Mint Velvet collection includes a number of pink-coloured, 'love' and heart-themed pieces.
Chloe Embury, head of partnerships at the BHF said: “Heart Month is the ideal time to highlight the devastating impact that heart and circulatory diseases have on peoples’ lives.
“The effect of Covid-19 has cut the BHF’s life saving research in half and we need support now more than ever to continue to fund our research into preventing, diagnosing and treating heart and circulatory diseases.
"Slowing down will put even more lives at risk which is why we're thrilled to partner with Mint Velvet in February to boost our funds and raise further awareness of the heartbreak caused by the world’s biggest killer.”
