Minka Dink brings its viral frilly blouses to King's Road for pop-up
This time last year, Minka Dink trialled physical retail with a pop-up on Chelsea's Kings Road. The brand doubled the amount of sales it expected for the entire pop-up in just the opening day. The next logical step? Bringing Minka Dink back to King's Road for a second pop-up.
The London-based womenswear brand, which welcomed 3-hour queues during its last year's pop-up, is bringing its beloved knits, frilly blouses and minimalist denim to 324-326 King’s Road from 29 March until 16 April.
Here, at 1,728 sq ft space, Minka Dink will showcase its best sellers including Bibi Blouse, Lila Jeans and Evie Cardigan to its customers old and new. Drop one of its SS25 collection will also be exclusively available to shop in-store.
Minnie Royden, Founder of Minka Dink, said: "King’s Road has always felt like the ultimate location for our pop-ups. Our customer loves shopping here, and we absolutely love the area and the incredible surrounding brands.
"It always feels like the perfect fit for Minka Dink, and it’s been fantastic to partner with Sloane Stanley, who have played an active role in our first experience of physical retail."
Starting as a passion project during the pandemic, Minka Dink’s new collection focuses on transitional pieces that take you from season to season, mirroring the brand’s ethos of creating timeless yet accessible clothing.
To celebrate the opening of its upcoming pop-up, Mink Dink is giving its Instagram followers a chance to win a £1000 voucher, which can be used online, or in-store at the pop-up.
Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley, added: "Minka Dink achieved so much success during its first-ever pop-up with us here last year, and to host its second pop-up is a real testament to the opportunities we provide for independent brands to thrive.
"Entering physical retail can be a daunting experience, especially for brands that have built a strong following on social media, and our role is to make it that little bit easier, providing guidance and support at every level."
