Milan trade shows including MICAM postponed to March 2022

Milan-based trade shows including international footwear MICAM Milano have been postponed to March 2022 at the request of market and industry operators.

MICAM Milano, MIPEL and The One Milano shows have been pushed back to 13-15 March 2022 from their original February dates. The HOMI Fashion & Jewels Exhibition has been moved to 11-14 March 2022.

The shows are expected to take place at the Fiera Milano Rho exhibition centre.

The organisers said: "Ever aware that physical shows are indispensable in the fashion business, the organisers unanimously decided to reschedule the events, in keeping with the claim #BetterTogether and, above all, with the needs of the market.

"On these new dates the fashion and accessories world will be able to highlight the creative spirit of so many companies whose collections continue to offer the highest standards of excellence in an event showcasing Italy’s outstanding quality, accompanied by the most interesting international proposals on the market. A winning mix that will attract qualified operators in a climate of renewed enthusiasm."

MICAM held its first physical show in September last year. The March 2021 event was operated digitally, with the participation of more than 90 brands. It also saw over 5,000 buyers from all over the world visit the platform and use it to conduct business.
