Mel B gives Pour Moi the “zig-a-zig-ah” in new campaign

Melanie Brown, better known as Mel B or ‘Scary Spice’ of Spice Girls fame, has joined forces with lingerie and swimwear brand Pour Moi on a new campaign called ‘Own Your Confidence’.

In the words of the ‘Wannabe’ song that shot the Spice Girls to fame 27 years ago this year, the singer and TV personality, who has just turned 48, gives a real “zig-a-zig-ah” to the campaign – described as being “dedicated to women celebrating women” – alongside her daughter Phoenix Brown and mother Andrea Brown.

Mel B and Pour Moi agreed that there should be no airbrushing on any of the campaign imagery, and Pour Moi is also making a donation to Women’s Aid, of which Mel B and her daughter are proud patrons.

I love that it was a collaborative experience – it was my idea to include my mum and my daughter at the shoot and we had so much fun!

“I love their lingerie and swimwear and how it makes me feel. It means a lot to me that Pour Moi are making a donation to Women’s Aid to support the campaign.”

Mel B helped to select the products featured in the campaign from Pour Moi’s extensive range of lingerie, swim and beachwear, including pieces from her favourite ‘Paradiso’, ‘Cali’ and ‘Casablanca’ swimwear lines, along with Pour Moi’s ‘Constance’, ‘Logo’ and ‘India Eyelash’ lingerie sets.

There’s also the “showstopping” ‘Leopard Couture Padded Bustier’, which could be straight from a Spice Girls “what you want, what you really, really want” live performance. Girl Power lives on.
