Marni partners with Veja for two exclusive shoe designs

Marni has collaborated with eco-friendly footwear brand Veja on two exclusive designs for the V-10 and V-15 silhouettes.

The designs feature bold colours in a scribbled-in style, reminiscent of childhood colouring books. Veja Co-Founder Sébastien Kopp told Elle that it took six months to get the design just right, with Marni's Francesco Risso highlighting the intention of evoking a DIY look.

The collaborative designs were produced in Veja's Fair Trade factory in southern Brazil. The soles are of 31% Amazonian rubber, 22% rice water and 12% recycled rubber, while the leather uppers are sourced from Uruguayan farms and tanned in a gold-certified tannery. The laces are made of 100% recycled polyester.

The shoes are available for pre-order on the Veja website and retail for £220 for the V-10 and £265 for the V-15.
