Marks & Spencer has restructured its top marketing team as Sharry Cramond joins the team in the new role of Marketing Director, Food & Hospitality from Southeastern Grocers in the USA.

To complement Cramond's position in Food & Hospitality, Nathan Ansell, who is currently Marketing Director Customer & Loyalty, is appointed to the new role of Marketing Director, Clothing & Home. Completing the changes is Rob Weston who will move to be Marketing Director, Brand & Customer, assuming responsibility for a new customer centre of excellence in addition to his current brand remit.

All three will report to Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, Executive Director, Customer, Marketing & Digital. “We’re changing M&S. Marketing and customer engagement will play a significant part in our transformation. The new team structure reflects this and, coupled with our one-brand approach, will ensure that we are faster, more commercial and acutely focused on our customers," he said.

Bousquet-Chavanne added that new recruit Cramond was "a creative firebrand". "We are looking forward to working together to drive our transformation plan with pace and clarity for our customers,” he said.

In addition M&S has confirmed that Victoria Self will take up her role of Digital Director, also reporting to Bousquet-Chavanne, on 25 January. Her appointment had already been announced.
