Mango is set to increase its presence in the UK with 13 new stores planned in 2023.

The expansion mainly focuses on the south and centre of the country in major cities such as Bristol, London, Manchester and Leeds, as well as Mango’s arrival in cities such as Brighton for the first time.

“The United Kingdom is one of the key markets for Mango’s international expansion. Our arrival this year in cities we have not been present in until now and in some of the largest shopping centres in the country will consolidate the Mango brand and allow us to strengthen our position internationally,” said Daniel López, Mango’s Director of Expansion and Franchises.

Among the key openings for the Spanish fashion giant is the store that opens today in Westfield Stratford City (pictured). The store, which has a selling space of 450m2, exclusively stocks the womenswear collection.

Mango is also set to arrive for the first time in the city of Brighton, where it will open a 470m2 store in the Churchill Square shopping centre.

In the first few months of this year, Mango has already opened new stores in cities including Solihull, Bristol and Leeds. New stores in locations such as Milton Keynes, Glasgow and London are also in the pipeline.

The new Mango stores will feature the Mediterranean-inspired store concept, New Med, which reflects the spirit and freshness of the brand. Sustainability and architectural integration are key in this new design, which conceives the Mango store as a Mediterranean home with different rooms in which warm tones and neutral colours predominate, combined with traditional, artisanal, sustainable and natural materials, such as ceramic, tuff, wood, marble, sparto grass and leather.
