Spanish fashion giant Mango, UK formalwear retailer Suit Direct and beauty specialist Rituals are opening new stores at the Cribbs Mall shopping centre, Bristol’s out-of-town shopping and leisure destination in Cribbs Causeway.

Opening tomorrow, 10 November, the 1,802 sq ft Rituals store, which is on a 10-year lease, will be the first of the three to open. It will be the first Rituals store in the West Country and will provide shoppers with a range of gifts including its award winning fragrances and body care.

Mango has also taken a 10-year lease on the 3,858 sq ft former Gap unit – with a 2,104 sq ft mezzanine – located between the Apple and Sky stores towards the centre of Cribbs Mall. That is due to open either later in November or early in December in time for Christmas.

Suit Direct, which is also pencilled to open later this month or early in December, has taken a five-year lease on a 1,793 sq ft unit. It will provide deals on suits, formalwear, casualwear and accessories from brands including Ben Sherman, Ted Baker, Gibson London, Pierre Cardin, Selected Homme, Marc Darcy, Racing Green and Hammond & Co. by Patrick Grant, with a comprehensive range of fits including big and tall sizes.

Alongside the new arrivals, family-owned jewellers F.Hinds has committed its future to Cribbs Mall after signing a new six-year lease renewal for its 1,449 sq ft unit.

Simon Green, Portfolio Director at joint owner of Cribbs Mall, M&G Real Estate, said: “The arrival of these leading retailers, alongside F.Hinds’ renewal, perfectly captures the diverse range of occupiers we have at Cribbs Mall as each appeal to different types of shoppers.

“It is important to have secured these new signings ahead of what will be a busy period for the centre, ensuring we have a retail line-up which gives customers the widest choice possible.”

The new signings come off the back of over 30,000 sq ft of new occupational deals over the last 12 months at Cribbs Mall. They include an expanded fashion offering with the arrival of Kurt Geiger, Carvela, and Tommy Hilfiger. Meanwhile, the opening of H Beauty has grown the centre’s thriving beauty offer.
