Mango partners with Vodafone to create digital fitting rooms

Global fashion retail chain Mango has teamed up with Vodafone to create digital fitting rooms which will be rolled out to its top stores worldwide.

The fitting rooms centre on a digital Internet of Things mirror which will enable shoppers to scan tags and contact shop floor staff. They will be able to use a digital watch to request additional sizes and colours and the mirror will also suggest complementary items.

Mango aims to extend the digital fitting rooms to all of its stores in a bid to blend the online and offline experiences. The mirror was designed by Mango and developed by Vodafone in partnership with Jogotech.

Mango’s Chief Client Officer Guillermo Corominas said: “This is a really exciting project for Mango.  We see the future of retailing as a blend of the online and the offline.  These new fitting rooms are another step in the digital transformation of our stores to create a whole new experience for our customers.”
