Mango opens ninth store in Scotland with new addition in Aberdeen
Mango has opened a new 4,500 sq ft store at the Union Square shopping centre in Aberdeen, marking the Spanish fashion retailer’s ninth store in Scotland.
The new store is offering Mango’s latest womenswear collections across clothing, footwear and accessories, showcased in an interior inspired by the brand’s Mediterranean heritage and culture.
Natural textures, warm tones and sustainable materials have created a bright and welcoming shopping space, in what is Mango’s first store in Aberdeen.

This latest opening is a continuation of Mango’s ‘2024–2026 4Es Strategic Plan’, which aims to drive sales and store expansion, including an ambitious roadmap to expand Mango’s store presence across the UK, “a priority growth market”.
Fiona Cullen, Mango’s International Regional Director for the UK & Ireland, said: “Our new Mango Woman store in Aberdeen is a confident step forward for Mango, building on the strong progress we have made over the last year to broaden the appeal of Mango to even more customers across the UK.
“Aberdeen is the perfect new home to introduce our womenswear collection to the more Scottish customers, in a store format that truly represents the Mediterranean soul of our brand.”
The expansion plan builds on Mango’s "strong" performance. In July, Mango reported global turnover of €1.73 billion in the first half of 2025, up 12% year-on-year (14% at constant exchange rates). The growth was driven by the popularity of its collections and new store openings.
Mango set out to open 500 stores globally between 2023 and 2026, including 20 in the UK in 2025.
Last month, Mango reported that it had been hit by a data breach as fashion cyber attacks continue to rise. The retailer confirmed that a third-party supplier suffered unauthorised access to ‘certain’ customer data.
The fashion giant said the breach occurred via a marketing services provider in Spain and affected personal data. That included first names, countries, postal codes, email addresses and telephone numbers.
However, Mango told TheIndustry.fashion that its own operations and systems remain unaffected, and that no banking information, credit card details or passwords were compromised in the data breach.
