Maison Lejaby creates post surgery bra
Maison Lejaby has launched a post surgery bra, as part of it's AW20 collection, providing vital support at pivotal moments for women.
Conceived after Maison Lejaby undertook extensive research into the needs of women who had undergone breast surgery and reconstruction, providing first hand experience and could testify best as to their needs on such a personal and sensitive journey.
The material used is crucial and needed to be soft. Cotton proved to be the solution and a green option important. After the products were wear-tested, feedback was used to improve the bra.
This included flat seams to prevent injury, made entirely from cotton and an interior pocket to place the prosthesis. Lace is added to regain the wearer’s sense of femininity which is paramount and of course made from cotton.

In Nocturne and White the Adage post surgery bra comes in sizes 32-40, B, C, D, E. Priced at £66, it is available at Harrods, John Lewis and Maison Lejaby.
