Mackintosh and C.P. Company join forces for debut collaboration
Scottish outerwear brand Mackintosh has teamed up with contemporary Italian sportswear giant C.P. Company on a limited-edition coat and jacket for the first time, merging both brands’ design heritage and craftsmanship.
Founded in 1823, Mackintosh is known for its bonded cotton construction, a technology developed and patented by the brand and still produced in Scotland today.

The collaboration reinterprets two icons in bonded cotton: Mackintosh’s signature raincoat – complete with a removable ‘goggle’ hood - which will retail at £1,360, and C.P. Company’s ‘Goggle Jacket’, priced at £1,270.
Both pieces are handcrafted in Scotland and offered in fawn and black. The fabric used in the coat and jacket combines two layers of cotton with a thin rubber core, creating a waterproof material. Each garment is cut and sealed by a master craftsperson using a rubber-based solution, with seams taped and reinforced by hand.

Over time, Mackintosh has evolved into a symbol of British luxury, combining traditional techniques with innovation. C.P. Company, founded in 1971 as Chester Perry by the late “godfather of urban sportswear,” Massimo Osti, and renamed in 1978, is known for its focus on functionality, forward-thinking design, and continuous experimentation with materials.
The collaboration will be available from 26 February on both the Mackintosh and C.P. Company websites, in the Mackintosh flagship store at 19 Conduit Street in London’s Mayfair, and in C.P. Company’s flagship stores in London, Milan, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo and Shanghai.
