Lyst has promoted Jenny Cossons to the position of chief partnerships officer with a remit for defining the global fashion search platform's brand and product offering.

Cossons joined the business as head of partnerships in 2014, bringing 20 years of experience in the fashion and digital industries having held roles with businesses including Net-A-Porter.com and Vogue.com, and in that time has doubled the number of partners available on the platform.

Lyst founder Chris Morton said Cossons had proved herself to be "a key contributor" to the platform's ongoing growth adding she had helped "deliver a top of class experience for the hundreds of fashion brands and retailers we work with globally. I’m thrilled to be working alongside Jenny now as our chief partnerships officer, where she can create even more impact for our partners and our brand.”

"The first time I met Chris and he shared his vision for Lyst, I knew it was something special and that I had to be a part of it. I am thrilled and humbled to take on this new role and to join an impressive C-Suite who are focused on building the world’s best global fashion search platform. By strengthening our brand and product offering for our shoppers and partners, we’ll ensure that our customer is always able to find exactly what she wants on Lyst," said Cossons.

Lyst offers more than 4m fashion products from 12,000 brands and stores, which it claims is the widest inventory in luxury and contemporary fashion online. The company has raised $60m to date, and is backed by range of investors with significant portfolios in fashion and digital businesses including 14W (Moda Operandi, Reformation), Accel Partners (Facebook, Spotify), Balderton (Yoox Net-A-Porter Group), Draper Esprit, part of the Draper Venture Network (Hotmail, Skype), and the teams behind LVMH, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, and Tory Burch.
