French luxury conglomerate LVMH is to launch a set of new delivery promises to customers with the aim of improving omnichannel shopping experience for customers.
LVMH already owns 75 brands including Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Fendi, and Givenchy as well as watchmaker Tag Heuer and has introduced this new feature through tech expert OneStock’s agile order management technology.
This new feature will allow shoppers to view real time stock availability and select a guaranteed delivery method depending on the product chosen.
Delivery options available include “white glove”, which is same day delivery and collect in store within a two hour time slot. Customer are further kept updated estimated delivery times. The most prominent part of the feature, is that LVMH will be applying OneStock’s ship from store, click and collect and return in store services. Many brands are increasingly using this service to promote growth of online sales.
So far, the conglomerate has launched this new tech feature with only one of its brands and is yet to disclose which brand. This new element will be available in the US and Europe and will be running for the same brand for the remaining of this year.
