LVMH champions sustainability with Nona Source's new ambassador programme

Nona Source, an online platform providing fashion professionals access to deadstock fabrics from luxury brands, has announced 'The Mindful Creatives Collective' ambassador programme.

The Nona Source platform grew out of LVMH’s DARE 'intrapreneurship' programme. It came to life when Romain Brabo, an expert in material purchasing and manufacturing at Givenchy and Kenzo, discovered "sleeping beauties" (high-quality fabrics) stored in various couture houses' warehouses.

It pioneers circular fashion, ensuring these deadstock textiles are being put to use instead of manufacturing on-demand fabrics.

The company has named four ambassadors for this programme, including Cecilie Bahnsen, Karoline Vitto, Nensi Dojaka, and Victor Weinsanto.

Cecilie Bahnsen, a finalist for the 2017 LVMH Prize, continues to breathe new life into otherwise discarded materials through Nona Source.

Karoline Vitto is passionate about inclusivity and responsible use of resources for her eponymous brand. She utilises Nona Source’s deadstock materials to bring together sustainability and inclusivity.

Nensi Dojaka, the winner of the 2021 LVMH Prize, considers Nona Source to be a vast wellspring of creativity.

Victor Weinsanto is an emerging designer known for his Queer style. He opts for deadstock fabrics to give his collections a contemporary and environmentally conscious edge.

Romain Brabo, Nona Source Co-Founder, commented: "I’m convinced that their innovation and commitment to a more sustainable fashion will help guide a new generation of designers, the ‘Mindful Creatives’."
