Lush launches same-day delivery service in partnership with Stuart

Lush is offering a same-day delivery service in partnership with Stuart, as England enters its second lockdown, that will enable customers to receive their orders within as little as two hours.

The retailer, which specialises in handmade sustainable cosmetics, will now offer trackable same-day delivery from 45 stores across the UK. The service will be available seven days a week during store opening hours and for deliveries within a five mile radius of each participating Lush store.

“We adore serving our customers to meet their exact needs and we recognise that these needs are ever changing,” said Charlotte Howe from Lush Group’s Retail Leadership Team.

“Our partnership with Stuart means that customers local to us can access their Lush goodies, even when they can’t physically get to us.”

Lush already offers next-day delivery via its website but the new service is the first time it has offered a same-day option. To use the service, customers are advised to contact their local Lush shop via social channels or email.

Stuart UK general manager Jonathan Jenssen added: “With consumers’ rising expectations around fast and convenient delivery – especially in the wake of the pandemic, during which online shopping has soared – our goal is to empower retailers to offer their end-customers a fast and flexible delivery experience”.

Stuart is an on-demand logistics platform which connects businesses to a fleet of geolocalised independent couriers. It was was founded in Paris in 2015 to disrupt last-mile delivery in urban areas and today it operates in 78 cities across three countries, the UK, France and Spain.

Luxury beauty retailer Space NK has also unveiled a same-day delivery service to be fulfilled from select stores today. Its Express Same Day deliveries will be picked and packed from one of 36 participating Space NK stores that have been designated as local distribution points, before being delivered to the customer.
