The Canadian activewear brand Luluemon has moved to a larger, 8,330 sq ft space on Long Acre within The Yards, Covent Garden.

The move marks a 130% increase on the brand’s previous store space in the iconic shopping destination.

Trading across two floors, the newly launched store showcases both women’s and men’s clothing, alongside accessories for activities including yoga, running, training and more.

The new store is the brand’s first in Europe to launch water bottle personalisation in-store.

Lululemon Covent Garden will offer events including running clubs and group exercise sessions, as well as taking part in ‘Connect at The Yards’, a one-day wellness and culture event in Covent Garden on 7 July. Leading fitness and wellness brands with stores in the area will join forces to provide a programme of fitness classes, workshops, music, and more.

The new space in The Yards joins activewear brands such as Pineapple, Snow+Rock and Runners Need, as well as fashion brands such as Reiss and Levi’s on Long Acre.

Sarah Clark, Senior Vice President at Lululemon EMEA, added: "Covent Garden holds a special place in our hearts, as it’s where Lululemon opened its very first European store back in 2014. We’re delighted to open this new, larger location, with more than double the space of our previous store to showcase our full all-gender offering for run, yoga, training, casual and more. Intended as a hub for the local community, our talented team are excited to build connections with new and existing guests."

Abi Labbett, Asset Manager at CBRE, commented: "As a central day-to-night hub in the West End, we are committed to ensuring The Yards consistently offers something new and unique to not only its visitors but also its neighbourhood of workers and residents.

"As a leading sector brand, lululemon continues to pave the way in activewear whilst crucially championing innovative customer engagement, which for The Yards’ community, is a key component. We are pleased to welcome Lululemon’s upsized store, marking yet another leading brand to reinvest and recommit to The Yards."
