Lulu Kennedy unveils line-up and street casting plans for CIFF

Lulu Kennedy MBE has unveiled the designers she will be showcasing at the Crystal Hall of the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) later this month and plans to take to the city's street's to cast models for the presentation.

Fashion East founder Kennedy was appointed by the fashion fair to curate its Crystal Hall and RAVEN areas earlier this year and she has revealed that she will be taking a raft of up-and-coming designers and brands to the show.

Womenswear designers and brands are Aries, Finery, Hades, LF Markey, Marques’Almeida and Richard Malon, while menswear will comprise Christopher Shannon, Feng Chen Wang, Liam Hodges, Per Götesson and Rottingdean Bazaar.

For the casting, Kennedy will work with renowned UK casting agent and close collaborator Madeleine Østlie of AAMO who casts for the likes of Vogue, Man About Town, i-D, adidas and Marc Jacobs. The casting will take place at Magasin Du Nord on 10 August, from 2pm to 5pm and the presentation will be held at CIFF on 11 August in the Crystal Hall.

Marques’Almeida, which won the coveted LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers in May 2015 and which is stocked at global leading retailers such as Opening Ceremony, Net-a-Porter, Browns and Matchesfashion.com, will use CIFF to look for its new "M'A Girls" with whom it collaborates under the hashtag #newMAgils. The #newMAgirls will be considered for creative collaborations, special editorials, website photo-shoots, film projects, campaigns and even its SS17 fashion show during London Fashion Week.
