Fashion East & MAN founder Lulu Kennedy MBE will curate the Crystal Hall and a special projects areas inside the RAVEN section of Copenhagen International Fashion Fair, CIFF, which takes place in the Danish capital on 10-12 August.

The Crystal Hall and the RAVEN special project at CIFF will be "two creative, interactive and experiential spaces" featuring a selection of womenswear and menswear that have all been approved by Kennedy, who as well as being the founder Fashion East is founder of the Lulu & Co clothing line and Editor-at-large of Condé Nast’s biannual LOVE magazine.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lulu as a part of the CIFF family. Her body of work speaks for itself and we are in sync with our shared goal to make CIFF even more innovative and the leading fashion fair in northern Europe. I look forward to our collaboration,” said CIFF fashion and design director Kristian W Andersen.

Kennedy has helmed Fashion East, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to nurturing new design talent in the fashion industry, since 2000. Via the scheme selected womenswear and menswear designers are put on an intensive programme that includes a catwalk show on the official London Fashion Week and LCM schedules, one to one mentoring, and a Paris sales showroom.

Her work has helped launch and sustain the careers of many leading design talents including Simone Rocha, Craig Green, JW Anderson, Roksanda Ilincic, Holly Fulton, Marques Almeida, Jonathan Saunders, House of Holland and Gareth Pugh.

"I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to collaborate with the team at CIFF; their skills and progressive attitude are totally on point and feel relevant to the direction in which fashion is moving. The ideas are right and energy is great; I’m looking forward to bringing new brands to enjoy the scene in Copenhagen this summer," she said.

CIFF first emerged on the Scandinavian fashion scene in 1993 and has since then grown to include CIFF RAVEN, CIFF KIDS, CIFF SHOWROOMS and CIFF SHOES. Along with Copenhagen Fashion Week it is considered to be one of the must-attend events for fashion buyers and press as it offers a directional and sharply curated offer of men's, women's and kids brands.
