Luxury footwear brand Christian Louboutin and Italian house Gucci have both opened boutiques in Selfridges Bullring as part of the continued investment in the Birmingham store.

The new additions join Tiffany, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo and Burberry as luxury brand exclusives in the region and their arrival forms part of a transformation of the store, which will be completed at the end of the summer when it unveils its new personal shopping suite.

“There’s no better luxury destination in the city than Selfridges, Birmingham and we’re excited to add both brands to the roll-call of deluxe collections at Level 4. We know our customers appreciate being able to source the very best brands in one place, which is why we are constantly working to make shopping here an exciting and dynamic experience,” said Selfridges Birmingham general manager Sam Watts.

Iain Mitchell, commercial director at property group Hammerson, which owns Bullring said the arrival of the two brands “further cement the Bullring Estate’s position as a key destination for premium brands outside of London.”
