London Textile Fair postpones January show

The London Textile Fair has postponed the January edition of its trade show, as COVID-19 cases continue to rise.

Initially scheduled for to take place 11-12 January 2022 at Islington’s Business Design Centre in North London, the organisation has confirmed that the event will now take place 22-23 March 2022.

In a statement, the event organisers said: “As we are all aware, the situation in the UK is very uncertain, due to the strong surge of the new Coronavirus variant. The UK government has recently imposed new restrictions, which include the advice of working from home whenever possible. We also expect the government to impose further, more stringent restrictions, before the end of the year.

“We have almost 250 exhibitors registered to show at TLTF in January. Unfortunately, we have to face the reality that even if all our exhibitors will be allowed to travel to the fair, visitors will still be under the instruction to work from home, and not able to attend the event.

"We really feel this is the best decision for everyone involved with the fair and we appreciate your continued support and understanding. We look forward to joining us in March."

Exhibitors will be contacted by the show's organisers with further information about the updated event plans.
