London Shoe Show postponed to October 2020

The London Shoe Show has confirmed it will reschedule its September show in line with customer requests and Government advice.

The rescheduled show will take place at the Copthorne Tara Hotel, in London’s Kensington from 11-12 October 2020, in a smaller capacity than previous years.

The London Shoe Show is London’s independent trade shoe fair, with over 46 six major brands on show and twenty exhibitors.

Event organisers have confirmed it has assessed and taken all necessary precautions to protect everyone during the 2 days, with later evening appointments to be scheduled in advance with any exhibitors directly.

A spokesperson for the event said in a statement: "Having spoken to a broad cross section of the exhibition’s regular attendees it was agreed that a later show would suit everyone’s needs. Retailers need time to assess their spring stock-carry-forward and their autumn requirements, most of which were already committed to.

"The October date facilitates this and allows what will become the new norm to become established in the market. Whilst the show is smaller this year, only on one floor, there were additional new brands wanting to show, however in line with COVID guidelines it was agreed to limit numbers to ensure the safest possible environment for our retailers and exhibitors."
