London-based designers Otiumberg and Hunza G have collaborated on a jewellery collection to create the "ultimate gold hoops".

Together the designers have created gold hoops that are inspired by the image image of the sea, specifically its flatness contrasted with the crest of a wave. The hoops are also hand-made and created from recycled materials.

Otiumberg was founded in 2016 by sisters Rosanna and Christie Wollenberg, with a focus on creating distinctive, layered, everyday jewellery. They now have an international retail presence in Alex Eagle Studio, Brown’s Fashion, Galeries Lafayette Champs Élysées and Six Senses Ibiza.

Hunza G was originally founded in 1984 and relaunched in 2015, a brand synonymous with the beach and size inclusivity. Its signature crinkly fabric flexes to sculpt and support all body shapes, and became famous when Julia Roberts wore a dresses made out of it in the movie Pretty Woman.

Georgiana Huddart, Founder of Hunza G commented: “We are delighted to collaborate with Otiumberg, we share the same values and I have always been a big fan of their aesthetic. There’s nothing sexier than a glint of gold on a woman in the sunshine!”

Christie Wollenberg, Founder of Otiumberg added: “It’s wonderful to collaborate with Hunza G, a brand we have personally admired for years. There is nothing more gratifying than creating a collection that is a true blend of both brand identities; the Hunza crinkle working harmoniously with the signature Otiumberg hoop.
