LK Bennett opens new outlet store at Gunwharf Quays
LK Bennett has announced the launch of a new outlet location at Gunwharf Quays, opening from today, Thursday 20 October.
The Gunwharf Quays store will showcase the brands new autumn/winter 2022 collection, as well as pieces from the spring/summer 2022 and autumn/winter 2021 collections. The store will also offer a large selection of the brands shoes and accessories, hand-crafted in Italy and Spain.
The new opening is in addition to the new London flagship store on New Bond Street and other new stores including Hampstead and Edinburgh's Multrees Walk.
LK Bennett was founded by Linda Bennett 30 years ago in Wimbledon Village. The business fell victim to prevailing tough conditions on the high street and collapsed into administration in March 2019. The business was bought by Rebecca Feng, who runs the brand's Chinese franchises through a company called Byland UK.
Darren Topp, LK Bennett CEO, commented: "We are delighted to be opening an LK Bennett outlet store in Gunwharf Quays; a destination-shopping area we know many of our customers already frequent. The store will showcase a fantastic edit of the collections, from beautiful hand-crafted shoes from Italy and Spain, to luxurious RTW and stylish accessories."
Yvonne Clay, Centre Director at Gunwharf Quays, added: "We are thrilled to welcome luxury women's clothing and fashion brand LK Bennett to Gunwharf Quays. Knowing their world renowned luxury women's fashion reputation, the store has opened at a perfect time. It gives our guests even more choice for their new autumn fashion pieces and delivers even more great gift options in time for the busy Christmas shopping period ahead"
Earlier this month, LK Bennett announced group sales were up 38% year-on-year. Gross profit grew by 55% to £21.7 million, with the premium retailer reporting its net profit was in excess of £1 million.
