LFW SS27: eBay returns to London Fashion Week with third Endless Runway

eBay Endless Runway returned to London Fashion Week for its third year this evening (17 September), bringing together creatives including Daisy Edgar-Jones, Akinola Davies Jr, Harry Lambert and Charles Jeffrey to showcase pre-loved fashion.

The shoppable runway, created in partnership with the British Fashion Council (BFC), took place at 5pm BST, with audiences able to purchase pieces from the show in real time through eBay Live. Hosted and presented by Raven Smith, the interactive format allowed viewers to follow the runway and shop the looks as they appeared, bringing the front row experience directly to audiences at home.

The 2026 edition brought together contributors from fashion, film, literature, art and culture around the theme ‘Forever’. Each selected pieces from their own wardrobes and creative worlds in response to the question of what deserves to live forever.

The line-up included model and activist Adwoa Aboah, filmmaker Akinola Davies Jr, designer Charles Jeffrey, actress Daisy Edgar-Jones, designer Giles Deacon, stylist Harry Lambert, Climax Books founder Isabella Burley, poet and model Kai-Isaiah Jamal, writer Osman Ahmed, author Raven Smith and costume designer Sandy Powell CBE.

The looks were styled by eBay’s Pre-Loved Styling Team and made available to shop as they appeared on the runway. Pieces included an Auralee leather trouser look contributed by Raven Smith, Coach leather dungarees contributed by Kai-Isaiah Jamal, a Prada shirt contributed by Harry Lambert and an Acne Studios crochet dress contributed by Edgar-Jones.

Other looks included a Chanel jacket with Raey jeans and a Hermès Kelly bag, a Comme des Garçons Homme shirt contributed by Charles Jeffrey styled with a John Galliano skirt, and a Jean Paul Gaultier Mona Lisa mesh top contributed by Lambert. A nightgown made for Scarlett Johansson in The Other Boleyn Girl, contributed by costume designer Sandy Powell CBE, was styled with Isabel Marant boots and Tom Ford sunglasses.

Edgar-Jones said she has “always been drawn to second-hand fashion and finding pieces with a bit of history and personality”, adding that fashion is “more fun when it's about finding something unexpected, not just buying new”.

Kirsty Keoghan, General Manager, EU Fashion at eBay, said the company had seen a shift in attitudes towards pre-loved fashion.

“We’ve seen a really positive shift in attitudes towards pre-loved fashion. It’s no longer just about finding an affordable alternative – people are increasingly drawn to the personality, history and sense of individuality that comes with buying pre-loved,” she said.

Keoghan said the ‘Forever’ theme reflected the longevity and personal meaning attached to pre-loved pieces. “The idea of ‘Forever’ felt really natural for eBay because it speaks to the longevity of pre-loved pieces, but also to creativity and identity. Clothing becomes more meaningful with time, and we wanted the show to explore that,” she said.

Keoghan highlighted a dress donated by Giles Deacon, whose silhouette had been reworked over several years, and a piece chosen by Aboah that she wore when she first suspected she was pregnant.

“Those stories show that the value of an item isn’t always about its monetary or fashion value,” she said. “Sometimes it’s about the memories and meaning attached to it.”

The event also supported Central Saint Martins’ Fashion Fund, with all proceeds from sales through eBay Live during the show donated to student scholarships, facilities and special projects.

The runway comes as eBay continues to expand its presence in the resale market. In July, the company completed its $1.2 billion (£890m) acquisition of fashion resale platform Depop following clearance from the UK Competition & Markets Authority.

eBay said at the time that Depop would continue to operate as a standalone business while benefiting from eBay’s global infrastructure. The acquisition was described by eBay CEO Jamie Iannone as strengthening the company’s position in consumer-to-consumer commerce and expanding its reach among younger buyers and sellers.

Alongside the runway, eBay Live is hosting a five-day programme of live shopping streams at 180 Studios from 17-21 September, covering pre-loved fashion, luxury accessories, sneakers, watches and jewellery.
