Lee Lapthorne launches The Global Innovative Fashion Showcase
One of The Industry’s longstanding members, Lee Lapthorne launched one of the most successful and innovative fashion showcases in 2003, and 2011 ushers in his newest venture.
Founded in 2003, London’s On|Off bridged the gap between on and off schedule designers via a unique platform that showcased collections while pushing the boundaries of contemporary exhibition space.
Over the past 14 seasons, On|Off’s pioneering approach has attracted some of the most exciting talent from the both the UK and internationally.
Renowned for discovering emerging talent, On|Off was the first to market debuting designers including Gareth Pugh, Hannah Marshall, Aminaka Wilmont, Yang Du, Peter Pilotto, Richard Sorger, Mark Fast, Louise Amstrup, Osman, Derek Lawlor, Kaviar Gauche, Emilio de la Morena, Tim Soar and JW Anderson.
Propelling the initiative forward, spring/summer 2012 we will see Lee and his team unveil The Global Innovative Fashion Showcase. It's a new direction for the brand and Lee says, “The On|Off team and I are extremely excited to be showcasing in Paris and feel that its part of our international evolution.”
