Kurt Geiger has opened the doors of its latest flagship store at Birmingham’s Bullring; covering 1,800 sq ft the new store sits on the mid-level of the shopping destination adjacent to Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.
Offering customers the full range of Kurt Geiger’s footwear and accessories, including the Kurt Geiger London, Carvela and KG Kurt Geiger collections, the store was designed by an in-house team. Its interior features a clean aesthetic and muted colour palette allowing the products to be showcased on architectural, geometric structures.
“Since launching the brand on Bond Street in 1963, Kurt Geiger has set itself apart and become the country’s leading premium footwear and accessories brand,” said Kurt Geiger retail director Ross Warden.
“We are delighted to have opened our first flagship store in the West Midlands. The new store will showcase our full collection of shoes and accessories for women and men in Birmingham. With its location right in the heart of the city, Bullring was the obvious choice for our new flagship,” Warden added.
Kurt Geiger is the latest aspirational brand to open at Bullring. Recently H&M opened one of its new ARKET concept stores at the centre and Hugo Boss selected Bullring for its first HUGO store outside of London.
Iain Mitchell, commercial director at the centre’s owner Hammerson commented: “The Bullring Estate has welcomed a host of premium international brands this year including ARKET, NYX Professional Makeup, HUGO and Morphe. Kurt Geiger’s opening is just in time for Christmas and adds to the strong fashion representation all under one roof.”
US beauty retailer Morphe announced earlier this week that it had opened its first store outside London and second in the UK at Bullring, selling its range of professional grade make-up and make-up brushes.
