Kurt Geiger collaborates with Crocs to release limited-edition footwear

Premium footwear retailer Kurt Geiger has collaborated with Crocs to release two limited-edition shoe styles.

The first design is punctuated with colourful chunky crystals, creating a bold rainbow across the asymmetric pair. The rainbow is a signature for Kurt Geiger, "signifying kindness, joy, inclusivity and hope", which the brand says it aims to communicate to its audience through its campaigns and designs.

The other design features a faux fur trim and Kurt Geiger London’s signature eagle-head charm, found scattered across other signature lines including the Kensington bag.

The design team at Kurt Geiger London said of the collocation  “We used the pumped-up BEA construction from Crocs and decorated them with some of Kurt Geiger London’s most recognisable iconography, resulting in two unique designs.”

Priced at £129, the Kurt Geiger X Crocs collection will be available in early December, online and in Kurt Geiger stores.

Crocs has enjoyed phenomenal success in the pandemic era, as it rode the wave of the "ugly shoe" trend, and has created global buzz via its limited edition drops and collaborations with celebrities, such as Justin Bieber, and luxury brands, including Balenciaga.

The brand recently reported third quarter sales of $625.9 million, up 73% on a year earlier, and has launched a resale service in partnership with ThredUp.
