Ksubi launches capsule collection with UK fashion influencer Lissy Roddy
Australian streetwear brand Ksubi has launched a 10-piece capsule collection in partnership with UK fashion influencer Alicia ‘Lissy’ Roddy, who has 1.3 million Instagram followers and over 70,000 YouTube subscribers.
The limited-edition collection is described as combining "Roddy’s coveted street-luxe aesthetic with Ksubi’s denim and anti-establishment ethos", and key pieces include the oversized ‘District Bomber’ jacket and baggy ‘Ksuper’ jeans.
There’s also varsity-inspired silhouettes like the ‘Boyfriend Jersey’, ‘Derby Shorts’, ‘Dean Cardigan’, ‘Porter LS Top’ and ‘Trinity Kilt’, "reimagined with a feminine, fashion-forward edge", as well as accessories such as a retro cap and a silk scarf.
Each piece is finished with exclusive Ksubi x Lissy co-branding and Ksubi patch. Appliqué elements throughout the range pay homage to the city that inspired it all, London.
Pip Edwards, Creative Director at Ksubi, said: "Lissy has a very distinctive way of blending luxury with streetwear, giving her an effortlessly cool edge that aligns perfectly with Ksubi.
"She’s built a huge global fanbase based on her bold approach to fashion and statement styling and it’s this fearless individuality that Ksubi celebrates. We were aware Lissy was already a fan of the brand, and we loved the way she styled our pieces, so we felt we could create something really special if we combined our designs with Lissy's incredible instinct for style and trends.
"She was very involved in the design process as we wanted this to feel as authentically ‘Lissy’ as possible. She was clear on the direction she wanted to take the collection and provided us with what silhouettes, colours and materials she felt most represented her, which acted as the foundations for the collection."
Lissy Roddy added: "Ksubi’s commitment to originality and fearless style perfectly aligns with how I approach fashion. Their range of washes, silhouettes and fabrics always offers so much freedom to play with personal style.
"Putting my own spin on Ksubi has been such an exciting journey, I can't wait to see how everyone will style and wear it!"
The collection is now available on the Ksubi website, as well as at the brand’s stores in Sydney, Melbourne, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago.
