David Watts
22 January 2016

Kiton is synonymous with timeless elegance, where custom-made tradition combines with a passion for beauty and good taste.

For AW16 the three-piece suit takes centre stage with emphasis on the vest, with jackets (single and double breasted) that feature exclusive blends of cashmere with vicuna and guanaco, and further underscores the luxury DNA of this Neapolitan brand.

Colours are classic blues and greys, black and white dogtooth checks are punctuated with deed burgundy and green.  Naples - a city that has always been in love with elegance and master tailoring.

A new innovation for AW16 is the thermal wear project CULTO. This capsule that utilises technologies and fabric with thermal features, consists of three overcoats, three jackets and three sport jackets, featuring a perfect balance between performance and style.

Single-breasted trench coats and parkas in cotton and silk are presented with knit vests woven with micro designs from KITON neckwear on the 1950s. Leather jackets with luxury fur linings are a recurring style with the addition of the the first wind-resistant, waterproof cashmere.

The Denim jean comes in two fits, slim and more full American cut. Japanese Kurabo denim is the world's most exclusive jean, worked on ancient looms with the finest organic cotton, and detailed with red enamel buttons.

Outerwear textiles have been used for footwear this season. Dog-tooth wool check for thick-soled lace ups and crocodile used for evening shoes with silk grosgrain laces.  Urban hiking sneakers have chenille laces and come in range of cool colours.
