KFC unveils one-off Pickle Puffer jacket amid 'pickle mania' on TikTok
KFC has today unveiled a first-of-its-kind ‘Pickle Puffa’ jacket - filled with sliced gherkins and pickle juice, complete with a built-in straw.
What began as a fake AI-generated video imagining a pickle-filled puffer jacket quickly spiralled into a collective “wait… why isn’t this real?” moment online.

So, KFC “have decided to give the people what they want and made the internet’s wildest brined fantasy a reality”, merging food, fashion and internet culture.
It comes as KFC celebrates the launch of its new Pickle Mania Menu, including the Pickle Burger and Pickle Loaded Fries, available in its restaurants nationwide from today, with the jacket available for one fan to win via a KFC Instagram competition.

James Channon, Brand Manager at KFC UK & Ireland, said: "The UK is currently in the grip of full-size pickle mania, and on TikTok #pickles has racked up billions of views, fuelling viral taste tests, fried-pickle hacks, pickle juice shots and chaotic kitchen experiments.
"With the Pickle Puffer, we’ve taken that trend one step further – it’s a bit unhinged, but that’s the point! Only KFC would wrap a jacket in real pickle juice and sliced pickles, giving fans a wearable, drinkable tribute to their obsession."
Customers can head to KFC UK & Ireland’s social channels from today to find out how to enter the competition and get their hands on the ‘Pickle Puffer’.
