Kate Spade to open pop-up shop at Liverpool ONE
American women’s designer brand Kate Spade New York is to open a 2,625 sq ft pop-up shop at the Liverpool ONE shopping centre on 6 December.
The New York City-based brand has chosen a unit on Peter’s Lane at the centre for its first boutique outside of London and Scotland. It will house the brand’s iconic handbags, clothing, shoes, jewellery, homeware and tech accessories.
Nicola Glass, creative director of Kate Spade New York, said: “I’ve seen so much opportunity to evolve the brand since I started and our new retail vision will be reflected in this pop-up. It’s a much more modern expression of our original DNA and personality, and we’re excited to be sharing our vision of optimistic femininity with Liverpool shoppers - just in time for the holiday season.”
The pop-up store will be fitted out with the brand’s signature tonal shades of pink, rose gold and deep green with mixed materials including marble and velvet.
Alison Clegg, director of asset management at landlord Grosvenor Europe, added: “Peter’s Lane is now a well-established and curated hub for global luxury names, which is reflected by this Kate Spade New York signing.
“This is the latest in a series of premium retailers to seek out the destination, including ROX Jewellers and Mint Velvet. The pop-up store will add to the festive atmosphere we are creating throughout the destination.”
