Kate Spade brings its signature dose of New York to London with first outlet
Kate Spade, the fashion brand known for its playful leather goods and trinkets, is bringing a dose of its New York heritage to the Outlet Shopping at The O2 this Spring.
The new 2,408 sq ft store on the outlet’s upper level is the brand's London outlet debut. The space is inspired by elements of both uptown and downtown New York, the brand’s hometown. This nod to its heritage, and the merging of the two distinct neighbourhoods, will act as a runway for its extensive womenswear offering.
Here, the brand’s latest seasonal and gifting collections, its Spring collection, and the Maddison collection will be on offer. Customers are invited to shop for handbags, small leather goods, accessories, jewellery, footwear, ready-to-wear and more.
This comes as the US-based brand looks to expand its presence on UK soil. Over the festive period, Kate Spade took over a London pub... talk about new, experiential forms of retail. Aptly named ‘The Kate Spade Arms,’ the activation delivered an "unexpected and festive design" that evokes the holiday season.
Louisa Dalgleish, Leasing Director at Outlet Shopping at The O2, said: "Kate Spade New York signing for its London outlet debut at The O2 follows a remarkable 2024, and is a clear indicator that The O2 remains the go-to place for outlet debuts in the capital. They are the perfect addition to our premium retail offer and provide customers with yet another reason to visit us."

Outlet Shopping at The O2
The O2 recorded its best-ever year for sales and footfall, welcoming a record number of people through its doors in 2024. It reported double-digit growth for retail, fuelled by a "stellar" Black Friday.
Outlet Shopping at The O2 finished the year 10% above last year’s sales, with standout trading periods including Black Friday weekend (29 November to 1 December) sitting in the destination’s top five sale days of the year, as well as the full week (25 November to 1 December) reporting a 16% sales uplift compared to 2023.
It comes after the retail and leisure destination welcomed over 31,000 sq ft of new brands in 2024, including All Good Things, Clarks, Bedeck, Castore, and Soletrader, alongside several renewals for existing tenants such as Le Creuset, Whittard, and Clarins.
