Kate Moss releases rock 'n' roll ZARA collection with menswear in the mix
Kate Moss is returning with her second collection for ZARA, launching spring/summer 2025. This new drop builds on the success of her debut autumn/winter range and reaffirms Moss’s staying power - not just on the runway, but as a cultural icon and a designer with serious high-street appeal.
Teamed once again with her long-time stylist and creative collaborator Katy England, Moss delivers a festival-ready, rock ’n’ roll-inflected collection but with a twist. For the first time, the line includes menswear, overseen by none other than Bobby Gillespie - frontman of Primal Scream and England's husband - who is making his fashion design debut.
"Nothing matches the feeling of finding a one-off piece," said Moss. "Just wow. The piece that only you own."
That thrill of discovery is central to the collection, which draws on decades of Moss’s globe-trotting vintage hunts from hidden thrift stores in the US to Parisian treasure troves. Pieces include a fringed bikini made for both the beach and the stage, a leather bra with vintage patina, redesigned go-go boots found on a trip 20 years ago, and a cream silk suit ready for a rock 'n' roll wedding.
"It was such an evolved process this time," Moss added. "Because it’s spring/summer and festival season, I suppose, I expected it to be more about wafty dresses. But it’s a bit tougher than that... we ended up going somewhere quite unexpected."
This new creative collaboration with Gillespie adds an androgynous swagger to the womenswear. Moss said: "When I saw Bobby’s designs, I really wanted so much of it that we decided to mix and match. It’s Bobby and Kate for ZARA."
Gillespie added: "These are things you can’t get anywhere else. Getting great tailoring like this that is accessible is important. Everyone deserves good clothes."
The campaign was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the photography duo known for their glamorous portrayals of Moss over the years. Alas and Piggott also shot a video on a Super 8 camera, which features Moss singing to Gillespie’s guitar on a make-shift stage, evoking the hazy days of a summer festival.
Moss’s partnership with ZARA might be relatively new, but her relationship with the high street is anything but. Her Topshop collections, which ran from 2007 to 2010 (with a revival in 2014), were seismic moments in British fashion retail. Fans queued for hours, pieces sold out instantly and many of the garments - like the pansy print tea dress, fringed jackets, and vintage-inspired sequin minis - became cult classics.
Moss was one of the first supermodels to bring her personal aesthetic directly to consumers at scale, paving the way for celebrity-led high street design we now see everywhere. The Topshop collab blended bohemian cool with rock star nonchalance, and the new ZARA range feels like a natural evolution of that legacy.

Over 120 ZARA stores worldwide are set to stock the collection as well as online from 9 June.
