Karen Millen opening London pop-up following previous high street exit

Boohoo-owned womenswear retailer Karen Millen is set to open its first physical retail space since 2019 with a pop-up shop in central London this March.

The pop-up will be located at 6-10 Great Portland Street, London, and will be open from 3 to 5 March, showcasing Karen Millen’s latest collections. Available categories will include workwear, occasionwear, as well as a selection of its curve, petite and tall options.

Karen Millen closed all its brick-and-mortar stores and concessions in 2019, focusing strictly on e-commerce. This was a direct result of the online fashion retail group Boohoo buying the Karen Millen and Coast brands out of administration in an £18.2 million deal.

Alongside the clothing and accessories on offer, the brand will also be offering bespoke personal shopping appointments, a beauty corner with a range of treatments available, and a complimentary alterations service provided by The Seam. There will also be a bar serving rosé wine to visitors.

Natasha Hackett, Brand Director at Karen Millen, commented: "Karen Millen is elated to be back on the high street for a weekend, giving us the opportunity to reconnect with loyal customers, both old and new.

"This will also provide the opportunity for people to see the quality of our ranges for themselves, and shop our newest collections in person, as well as enjoying an indulgent moment of self-care in our beauty corner and at our bar. It will be a weekend to remember."
