Italian sportswear brand Kappa has just launched a new social campaign for SS21 called #keepPERFORMING to highlight and promote the brand’s rich sporting history by celebrating performers of all backgrounds – “encouraging the world to keep active.”

Photographer Theo Cottle and videographer Jamie Walters have captured the self- belief “concentration, dedication and motivation” of football freestyler Liran Santos, disabled dancer Kate Stanforth, basketball player Kornelijus Budrys, breakdancer Gabriel Infante, gymnast Koffi and magician Billy Menez.

The brand has often blurred the lines between sportswear and streetwear, embodying the culture, community and team spirit of the game, while synonymously emerging as a coveted name within the global street style scene.

The new campaign merges the two worlds of sport and street through throwing the spotlight on a diverse group of talented individuals. The message is “you can achieve any goal you set yourself if you continue to work at it.”

Kappa has been synonymous with elite performance since its origins, even becoming the first brand in Italy to sponsor a top football team, Juventus - in the brand’s home town of Turin - in 1979.
