Kappa collaborates with Palace on 90’s archive-inspired collection

Italian sportswear brand Kappa is launching a new collaboration collection with British skateboarding label Palace on 3 December 2021.

In what is a first for the two brands working together, Kappa invited the Palace design team to explore its archive in Turin, Italy – filled with hundreds of different home and away kits worn by Kappa sponsored teams over the past 30 years. The result is a collection of jerseys, tracksuits, caps and accessories which celebrate Italian street style and 1990’s British football culture.

The Kappa x Palace collaboration includes a “90’s fit” crinkle effect long jacket in technical nylon, with the Maxi Kappa logo on the shoulders and Palace’s reworked “banda” on the sleeves.

Another stand out item is the iconic Kappa 222 Banda tracksuit in polytricot, reinterpreted with a playful new Palace Kappa logo. T-shirts with raglan sleeves are inspired by iconic soccer jerseys in blue, yellow, pink, and black, and there’s a soccer boot bag featuring the Kappa and Palace logos in rubber.

The collection will be available at Palace stores in London, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo, as well as Dover Street Market in London and Los Angeles, and on the Palace website.
