Kacey Musgraves brings her album into a 'wearable dimension' with Reformation
Sustainable fashion brand Reformation has teamed up with country-pop Grammy award winner Kacey Musgraves on a collection of countryside-ready fits.
Reformation x Kacey Musgraves is "engineered for slowing down and growing up", from countryside galevanting to poetry reading.
Musgraves was hands-on in designing the 17-piece collection of earthy-toned pastoral dresses and mini-skirt sets collection. True to Reformation's ethos, each piece is rendered from recycled and regenerative materials (including Reformation’s new 95% recycled, 5% virgin cashmere blend).
The label focuses on efficient, eco-friendly manufacturing and employs 'green methods' in every aspect of the brand. From repurposed vintage pieces and sustainable materials to recyclable packaging, Reformation’s design mission is to make effortless silhouettes that celebrate the feminine figure using eco-conscious measures.
This launch coincides with the beginning of the North America tour of Kacey’s new album, Deeper Well, bringing the album into "a new wearable dimension", and marks her first-ever collaboration with a fashion brand.
Kacey Musgraves said: "Designing every little detail of this collection and partnering with an earth-conscious brand I’m organically a fan of was such a joy and a fun opportunity to flex a different creative muscle. Each piece was very thoughtfully and personally crafted over many months and propels the classic aesthetic of Deeper Well into a new, wearable dimension."
Reformation x Kacey Musgraves is now available on thereformation.com and in all Reformation stores globally. The brand, which was founded in 2009 by Yael Aflalo is currently stocked at third party retailers Selfridges, Net-a-Porter and Farfetch.
