Joules signs for outlet store at Caledonia Park as Belstaff opens
British lifestyle brand Joules, which was acquired by NEXT in December 2022, has signed for a 1,745 sq ft store at Caledonia Park Designer Outlet in Gretna, Scotland.
Marking its first outlet location in Scotland, the news comes as Belstaff, which was acquired by sportswear company Castore in August 2025, has finally opened its 2,500 sq ft store at the same outlet destination - originally announced in July.
The new Joules store, which as yet does not have a confirmed opening date, will house the brand’s menswear, womenswear and childrenswear.
Louise Brown, Property and Retail Director at Joules, which founder Tom Joule retains a 26% stake in, said: “We’re so pleased to be opening our new Caledonia Park store. As well as bringing our preppy heritage style back to Scotland, we’re really looking forward to reconnecting with our lovely community of Scottish customers.”

Alex Luker, Senior Asset Manager at Caledonia Park landlord Railpen, added: “Belstaff and Joules both reflect the calibre of brands we look to attract to Caledonia Park. They align closely with our long-term vision for the scheme and our understanding of a customer base seeking premium yet accessible brands.
“Securing Joules’ first outlet store in Scotland is a strong endorsement of the destination and its position as a leading outlet destination in the region.”
Strong commercial performance saw overall year-on-year sales up 3.8% at Caledonia Park in August 2026, with other recent openings including Superdry & Co’s first outlet store, as well as Crocs arriving at the destination. They have helped to drive a particularly strong period for fashion and accessories, with category sales up 11.7% year-on-year in August.
