Joules pledges to plant trees for customers who shop this Black Friday

Premium British lifestyle brand Joules is continuing its charity partnership with the Woodland Trust, as it plans to plant trees on behalf of customers who shop with the brand this Black Friday.

The initiative, which will take place in addition to discounts on Joules’ collection of carefully designed clothing, footwear and accessories, will see one tree planted per transaction.

If the charitable proceeds generated from these sales are less than £100,000 Joules has agreed to contribute an additional amount to the Woodland Trust to top up the total sum donated to £100,000.

The relationship with the Woodland Trust is founded on the two businesses’ mutual love for the great outdoors. Together, they aim to raise awareness of the importance of protecting and creating woodland.

The initiative supports Joules’ pledge to plant a quarter of a million trees by 2022. The pledge was announced in March 2020 and supports the Woodland Trust’s overall campaign to plant 50 million new trees by 2025.

In addition to the Black Friday scheme, Joules recently unveiled its Christmas animation ‘A Woodland Tale’.
