Jonathan Anderson scores third Designer of the Year win at Fashion Awards 2025
Jonathan Anderson once again cemented his reputation as one of the world’s most influential designers last night as he picked up the Designer of the Year trophy at The Fashion Awards for the third year running.
Hosted at the Royal Albert Hall, the event was fronted by BAFTA- and Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo and spotlighted the cultural power of fashion, its most iconic moments, and the visionary talents pushing boundaries and redefining the industry.
Organised by the British Fashion Council and presented by Pandora, the awards serve as the primary fundraising event for the BFC Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to securing the future of the British fashion industry through education, grant-giving, and business mentoring.
Other notable winners from the star-studded evening included Grace Wales Bonner for Wales Bonner, who received the British Menswear Designer Award, and Sarah Burton for Givenchy, who was honoured with the British Womenswear Designer Award.
Little Simz was recognised as a Cultural Innovator, while Chanel and Dior CEO Delphine Arnault received Special Recognition Awards. During her acceptance speech, Arnault announced that Dior will increase its investment in the BFC Foundation Scholarships Programme by introducing a new annual MA Womenswear Scholarship to sit alongside the existing MA Menswear Scholarship.
