JoJo Maman Bébé to launch ‘JoJo ReLoved’ donation scheme
Childrenswear brand JoJo Maman Bébé is launching a new donation scheme in-store called ‘JoJo ReLoved’ – running from 1-31 August 2024.
Customers will be able to donate any good quality pre-loved kids’ and baby clothes from any brand in-store and receive a £5 off voucher as a thank you – to redeem in any JoJo Maman Bébé store.
The scheme aims to prevent high quality clothes that still have lots of life in them from going into landfill, "giving them a second chance to be ReLoved".
All customers need to do is sort through any good quality pre-loved clothing for ages 0-6, make sure they are in clean and wearable condition, and then check the list on JoJo Maman Bébé’s ReLoved webpage for the items that can and can’t be accepted. Those that can be accepted can then be put in a bag and taken to the nearest participating JoJo store.
Reportedly, nearly a third of the UK’s clothing ends up in landfill; that’s 350,000 tonnes a year. ReLoved aims to make sure that quality clothes are being "worn, loved, re-worn and re-loved" for many years to come.
Over the last nine years, JoJo’s donation initiative has saved a large amount of children and baby clothing from going to waste by facilitating the delivery of generously donated parcels to families in need in the UK and Ireland.
This initiative is aligned with JoJo’s B Corp ethos, as the business "strives to balance purpose and profit".
