Jimmy Fairly to open "most exciting store yet" in London’s Soho
Parisian eyewear brand Jimmy Fairly is opening its 22nd UK store at 10 Foubert’s Place in London on 17 August 2024, its second Soho location having opened at 47 Lexington Street in March 2023.
Described as the brand’s "most exciting store yet", it will feature a wide selection of the brand’s signature glasses and sunglasses, with a colourful interior that’s larger than the Lexington Street store.
The opticians will offer expert eye tests for all customers, using state-of-the-art equipment, as well as a personalised service encouraging clients to find the perfect pair for their individual style and prescription needs.
Daphnée Duchatel, Head of International Markets at Jimmy Fairly, said: "It’s a super exciting moment for the brand in the UK, opening another central London store location. I love this area, and it really fits with the creativity and style of Jimmy Fairly.
"Since launching in the UK back in 2018, we have developed a great community, and are pleased to be sharing our newest store with everyone."
Optical and sunglasses frames start at two price points of £135 and £150, "allowing for great quality at affordable prices". To celebrate the new opening, Jimmy Fairly will be offering a gift with purchase "while stock lasts".
The brand, which was founded in 2011, opened its first UK store at 24 Neal Street in Covent Garden in 2018 and the new opening will make it Jimmy Fairly’s 16th in the capital. It also has stores in Bath, Bristol, Brighton, Cambridge, Leeds and Edinburgh.
Alongside Jimmy Fairly’s UK growth, the brand has continued its expansion internationally. Now with 136 stores across France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and the UK, there are further plans to expand into Germany imminently.
By entering into new markets Jimmy Fairly said it is able to continue its mission to make a positive impact on communities around the world. Through its partnership with the charity Restoring Vision, Jimmy Fairly has now donated over one million pairs of glasses to people in need of sight.
