Jimmy Choo collaborates with Timberland on footwear collection inspired by New York

Following the success of the first brand pairing in 2020, Jimmy Choo has collaborated again with Timberland on a new footwear collection inspired by the city of New York.

This capsule sees Timberland’s Original Yellow Boot re-imagined through the lens of Jimmy Choo’s Creative Director, Sandra Choi.

With its bold attitude and ‘90s hip hop roots, the Original Yellow Boot epitomises the city of New York – which served as the inspiration for the capsule. According to the two brands, the campaign is a celebration of the city’s "vibrant creative community" and was shot on a New York rooftop featuring local talent.

The capsule comprises seven styles across men’s and women’s, including two hot pink velvet boots finished with transparent soles, two classic nubuck boots with a graffiti-inspired Jimmy Choo logo script, a black boot with a Swarovski crystal embellished collar and a thigh-high black leather harness boot that has dual styling function, transforming into a classic 6-inch silhouette with ease.

The collection is completed with a heeled version of the Timberland 6-inch boot covered entirely in Swarovski crystals, available in limited quantities exclusively at Jimmy Choo.

Drieke Leenknegt, CMO at Timberland, commented: “Although our brand was born in New England in 1973, we’ve always considered New York City our second home. This community helped make us who we are today.”

The Jimmy Choo x Timberland collaboration has launched at Jimmy Choo and Timberland locations, as well as select premium retailers around the world.
