JD Sports upsizes to new store in Cambridge's The Grand Arcade
JD Sports has confirmed it will upscale its presence in Cambridge, relocating its store from Lion Yard Shopping Centre to The Grand Arcade.
Opening Saturday 22 October, the 13,902 sq. ft space will provide an enhanced product proposition for consumers and will see significant improvement in trading space, almost doubling in size from the unit at the Lion Yard.
The new store will stock sportswear brands including Nike, Adidas, The North Face, Castore and New Balance. It will also stock even more ranges across fashion, footwear and accessories, and new brands such as EA7, Under Armour, Lacoste and Fred Perry.
Shifting from a 2,333 sq. ft retail space to a 13,902 sq. ft space retail space will enable JD to serve its customers more effectively. The Cambridge store represents the 27th largest retail venue in the UK, and The Grand Arcade attracts 14.6M visitors per annum.
