JD Sports’ Go Outdoors launches new ‘Discover Freedom’ TV ad with Take That soundtrack

JD Sports-owned outdoor clothing and equipment retailer Go Outdoors has launched a new TV advert and multi-channel campaign called ‘Discover Freedom’ – encouraging Brits to embrace the great outdoors.

Shot in New Zealand, the campaign features a range of outdoor activities to a soundtrack of Take That’s ‘Greatest Day’. It spotlights a range of brands and products sold in Go Outdoors, including Berghaus and Montane waterproof jackets and mountain bikes from Jamis Bicycles.

The new positioning will be rolling out across all Go Outdoors channels, including the new estate of high street ‘Express’ stores “continuing to open over the next few months”.

The campaign has launched across TV, digital, radio, social and customer communications.
