Janie and Jack join Hatch to open dual-concept store in London
US-based childrenswear label Janie and Jack and maternity brand HATCH have opened their first UK store, a dual-concept space in London's Chelsea neighbourhood.
The new dual-concept store opened in the historic Gaumont Building on King's Road in London and showcases both brands on the ground floor to create a seamless shopping experience that represents the brands' shared commitment to reimagining modern family retail.

A lower-level space within the retail store is dedicated to community events, as well as a private Hatch try-on suite for styling appointments and events.
The idea behind the multi-brand retail approach is that both brands are able to create distinctive creative identities while sharing resources that enable agility, scalability, and best-in-class execution, according to parent company Matri Group.

This store marks the first concrete step outside North America for both brands, marking their shared ambition for international expansion.
Matri Group operates with the strategic backing of investment platform Go Global Retail, which owns both brands following the acquisition of Janie and Jack from previous owner Gap Inc in 2021.
Parnell Eagle, President of Janie and Jack, said" "This next phase is about deepening our connection with modern families while bringing a new expression of our signature style to London - timeless design, beautiful craftsmanship, and a sense of occasion in every detail.
"We're excited to bring our vision of contemporary family style to London's most iconic shopping destination."
