Launched in 2009 by Sébastien Fabre, Vestiaire Collective is the leading online marketplace to buy and sell authenticated pre-owned luxury fashion. The France-based website offers thousands of carefully curated luxury items everyday at up 70% off retail price.

In 2007 it secure $58m in a funding round led by Vitruvian Partner and which was also backed by existing investors Eurazeo and Idinvest Partners.

In November 2018 appointed Maximilian Bittner (founder of Lazada Group, Southeast Asia’s leading ecommerce company) as CEO; he joined on 1 January 2019 taking over from Fabre remains a director and who continues to play a key role in the strategic direction of the site.
